Using Competitor Tracking
Add any Etsy shop by name or URL and Atlas starts watching its public profile — all-time sales, total favorites, and review activity — the same information any visitor sees on their shop page, read through Etsy's public API. Nothing here requires that shop to connect to Atlas or authorize anything; you can track a shop you have no relationship with at all.
Data is only ever collected forward from the moment you add a shop. Etsy's own shop endpoint only reports current running totals, not a historical series, so there's no way to backfill what a competitor's numbers looked like before you started tracking them. If you pick a time window longer than how long you've been tracking a shop, Atlas tells you exactly how many days of real data it actually has rather than showing a number that looks complete but isn't.
The review summary breaks feedback down by star rating for whichever window you've selected (Today, Yesterday, Last 7 days, or Last 30 days) — built from the real reviews Etsy returns, not an estimate.
How many new shops you can start tracking is limited by plan and resets on the 1st of each month: Starter includes 10, Growth 25, and Pro 50. Removing a tracked shop doesn't refund that month's usage — it's counted the moment you start tracking, the same way Sticker Campaigns' monthly limit counts real applications.
