How Atlas accesses your Etsy data

Atlas connects to your shop through Etsy's own OAuth sign-in, the same kind of "Sign in with..." flow you'd use for any third-party app — you approve access on Etsy's own page, and Atlas never sees or stores your Etsy password.

Atlas is read-only by default. Detection across Atlas — like Night Watch watching your listings' active/inactive status — never writes anything to Etsy on its own. The one exception is Night Watch's revert action: if it flags a status change, reverting it is a button you click yourself, and nothing is sent to Etsy until you click it.

You can disconnect your shop at any time from Settings → Shop Connection, which removes Atlas's access immediately.
